She earned significant praise for her portrayal of Lady Tilly Arnold in the popular Netflix series *Bridgerton*. Prior to that, she was known for her role as Eleanor Guthrie in the adventure drama *Black Sails* and for embodying Rosalinda Fox in the celebrated adaptation of María Dueñas' novel, *The Time in Between*. As the youngest of three sisters, New's inclination towards the arts became apparent early on.
