Irina Shayk, whose full name is Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova, is a Russian supermodel who was born on January 6, 1986, in Yemanzhelinsk. Her father was of Tatar ethnicity while her mother was Russian, and she credits her distinctive appearance to both parents—her darker complexion comes from her father's heritage, while her light-colored eyes are inherited from her mother. She has mentioned that people frequently assume she has South American ancestry due to her features, noting that Tatars can sometimes resemble Brazilians.
