The 31-year-old, whose given name was Hsieh Yu-hsin, was reportedly staying at the Kuala Lumpur hotel with rapper Namewee when she was found around 1:40 PM on October 22nd. News of her death garnered attention from international media, including the New York Post and the BBC. While Namewee was not initially a suspect in Hsieh's demise, he was apprehended on the same day on charges related to drug possession and use. He was subsequently granted bail two days later. In an Instagram post, Namewee expressed his profound sorrow over Hsieh's passing and denied any drug involvement, stating that the truth would emerge with the official police findings. The BBC later reported that the rapper tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamines, ketamine, and THC.
