Iryna Olhovska — Biography
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, on March 27th to a family of engineers, Iryna Olhovska began her performing journey at the tender age of five. She stepped into the spotlight as the lead vocalist for the children's ensemble Businki, a role she embraced for seven years, gracing stages across numerous Ukrainian and European cities. By twelve, Iryna embarked on a professional modeling career, a path she followed even as she pursued and obtained her law degree at university.
Her early competitive success came in 2000 when she secured the first runner-up position at the esteemed Queen of Kiev pageant. Later that same year, mainstream recognition followed after she triumphed in the Start-New Faces competition, an amateur model search orchestrated by the Ukrainian fashion publication Eva. This victory brought with it numerous photo opportunities and a coveted cover feature. In the subsequent years, Iryna became a familiar face within popular Ukrainian magazines such as XXL, EGO, and PLAYBOY.
The summer of 2007 saw Iryna crowned winner of the Lady XXL contest, hosted by the prominent Ukrainian men's magazine of the same name. Around this time, Ukrainian PLAYBOY extended invitations for several photo sessions, including a notable sports calendar featuring players from FC Arsenal Kiev. This project garnered significant media attention throughout Ukraine, Russia, and other former Soviet republics. As the year concluded, Ukrainian Playboy recognized her among the world's top 100 most beautiful women. In 2008, the national tabloid MK also acknowledged her beauty, listing her as one of Ukraine's 100 most beautiful individuals.
Iryna's 2009 commenced auspiciously when PLAYBOY USA named her one of their top eight international playmates. Hugh Hefner personally extended an invitation for her to participate in an international models' photoshoot at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. In a historic first for Playboy's 55-year existence, Hefner appeared on the Ukrainian cover of his magazine, a feature that also included Iryna. She was also featured on anniversary covers of PLAYBOY in Holland, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, and Ukraine, as well as in special edition anniversary calendars released in countries like Poland and Bulgaria. The photoshoot she was part of was showcased in nearly every international edition of the magazine, including PLAYBOY USA's March and April 2009 issues.
Currently, Iryna fronts major advertising campaigns in Russia and Ukraine. Her aspirations lie in continuing her work in modeling and acting, while also actively pursuing her lifelong dream of a music career. She remains dedicated to the release of her debut music single.
