Iva Kubelkova — Biography
Born in Písek on May 8, 1977, Iva Kubelková is a Czech personality recognized for her work as a model, television presenter, and actress, primarily residing in Prague. Her formative years were largely spent in her birth town. At fourteen, she relocated to the capital city with her mother and finished her secondary education at a private economic school. Subsequently, she pursued higher vocational studies in German. In 2010, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Mass Communication, followed by a Master of Arts in the same discipline. During her second year of high school, Kubelková entered the Miss Czech Republic pageant, securing the first runner-up position in 1996. Following the competition, she balanced her remaining studies with the demands of her new title. After two years dedicated to modeling and photography, she received an invitation to join František Ringo Čech's theater company. By the close of 2002, she took on a leading role in Jaroslav Dobiáš's play, "Night with a Model." Her personal life has included relationships with hockey player Jaromír Jágr and race car driver Martin Koloc. Beyond her public career, Kubelková is also a painter. Her television presence began in early 2005, also garnering attention in the tabloid media. She co-hosted the reality show "VyVolení" on TV Prima for several weeks, and has presented programs such as "Sama doma" and "TopStar magazín." Her acting credits include the role of Daniela Hartlová-Skálová in the series "Very Fragile Relationships." From 2011 to 2015, she portrayed MUDr. Alica Dvořáková in "Cesty domů." In 2022, she participated in the ninth season of "Tvoje tvář má známí hlas." Kubelková also operates a hair salon in Prague. On June 18, 2013, she co-hosted the Golden Hockey Stick awards ceremony with Jiří Hölzel. She shares her life with artist Georg Jirasek, and together they have two daughters: Natália, born November 1, 2004, and Karolína, born February 16, 2009. Iva Kubelková is the mother of Czech models Natalie Jiraskova and Karolina Jiraskova. In 2020, she released a musical album titled "Jak moc měš znáš," collaborating with guitarist Michal Pavlíček.
