Ivana Vuleta — Biography
Ivana Vuleta stands as a preeminent Serbian long jumper, currently holding the title of world indoor champion and having secured three European indoor championships. Her athletic achievements etched her name in history in 2013 when she became the first Serbian track and field competitor to earn a medal at the IAAF Outdoor World Championships. Further solidifying her legacy, in 2018, she achieved another first for Serbia, becoming the initial track and field athlete to claim a world senior gold medal at the IAAF Indoor World Championships. Vuleta also holds the Serbian national records for the long jump, both indoors and outdoors. Her versatility is further demonstrated by her national indoor records in the 60 meters and the pentathlon. Her dedicated training is guided by coach Goran Obradović, and she competes under the banner of the Athletic Club Vojvodina based in Novi Sad.
