Jackie Guerrido — Biography
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on September 24, 1970, Jackie Guerrido is a familiar face on television screens as a meteorologist and journalist. Her upbringing and schooling took place in her native San Juan. Following high school, she relocated with her family to the Bronx, New York City. A childhood aspiration of becoming an actress fueled her early career endeavors, leading her to numerous auditions where she sometimes secured modeling opportunities. Guerrido's initial foray into television was through advertisements for clothing and beverages. While her striking looks opened doors to modeling contracts, her resonant voice soon propelled her into the realm of radio.
A producer, having heard her voice-over work, extended an offer for a morning radio show, "El Vacilon de la Mañana," on MEGA 97.9. This led to another opportunity with Romance 106.7 FM in Miami, Florida. After a year at Romance, Guerrido established herself in Miami and joined the HBC Radio Company.
