About Jacqueline Moore
Jacqueline DeLois Moore carved out a notable career in the world of professional wrestling, both as a competitor and a behind-the-scenes figure. Her tenure with WWE from 1998 to 2004 stands out, marked by her pioneering achievement as the inaugural African American WWE Cruiserweight Champion. This accomplishment also placed her among an exclusive group of three women to have held that particular title. Prior to her WWE success, Moore honed her skills in World Championship Wrestling during 1997 and 1998. Her involvement extended to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as well, where she contributed as a wrestler, manager, and road agent.
Moore's journey into wrestling was fueled by a childhood admiration for the sport, with the Von Erich family being her particular favorites. Beyond the squared circle, she developed a strong athletic foundation, holding a third-degree black belt in taekwondo and possessing experience in kickboxing and boxing. In the summer of 2001, Moore transitioned into a trainer role for the MTV reality series Tough Enough, alongside Tazz, Al Snow, and Tori. This marked her first experience guiding aspiring wrestlers. On the program, she played a role in developing the talents of future WWE performers Nidia Guenard and Maven. In 2002, Moore also tested her mettle on a special WWF superstar edition of Fear Factor, securing a second-place finish behind Matt Hardy.
