About Jelena Jensen
Jelena Jensen came into the world on October 7, 1981, in Los Angeles, California. The American performer of German, Russian, and Jewish heritage has worked as a retired adult film actress, model, director, and webcam content creator. Her parents were music industry groupies who met at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from Chapman University in May 2003, graduating with honors and holding positions on the executive boards of two honor societies.
At the age of 21 in 2003, Jensen entered the adult entertainment field after being recruited at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. She began with solo photography rather than explicit work, completing her first shoot with photographer Scott St. James for Club magazine's August 2003 issue. Her image subsequently appeared in major publications including Penthouse and multiple special editions of Playboy.
Jensen transitioned into softcore girl-on-girl performances with companies such as Digital Playground, Girlfriends Films, and Penthouse. Over her career, she appeared in more than 400 films spanning various titles and series. She also took on mainstream acting roles, appearing in the 2010 horror comedy Bad Biology and the television series Totally Busted on Playboy TV from 2003 to 2006. In addition to her on-camera work, she hosted The J Spot on Vivid Radio and maintained an active website with exclusive content.
In 2009, Jensen performed her first explicit lesbian scene for her website, marking a significant shift in her career. She later performed her first scene with a male performer on June 22, 2009, and has since appeared exclusively with her husband in such content. Over the following decade, she became known for prolific girl-on-girl performances and eventually identified as bisexual.
Standing 5'10" tall with brown hair and eyes, Jensen has consistently refused cosmetic surgery. She received several industry recognitions, including a 2013 XBIZ Award for Web Star of the Year and 2015 AVN Hall of Fame induction. Jensen ceased traditional film work in 2020 and now focuses on content creation through subscription platforms while maintaining an active social media presence.
