Born in Wilmington, Delaware on March 22, 1976, Jessica Darlin is a former American adult film performer and model who has since retired from the industry. Adopted early in life, Darlin spent her formative years in Coral Springs, Florida, attending a private institution. She characterized her adolescent self as a "little party girl" and admitted to being the "town nympho" during her teenage years. Her relationship with Luis Cypher began when she was seventeen, meeting him at a concert, and they later married when she was twenty-one.

At the age of eighteen, Darlin embarked on a career in exotic dancing, inspired by a passing strip club. She recalled telling her husband at the time, "I drove by a strip club and said to my now husband, I can do that." While working as a dancer, she encountered other performers who had ventured into adult films, gaining insight into the profession. In pursuit of a career in adult cinema, Darlin and her husband relocated to Los Angeles when she was twenty-one.

Upon her initial visit to Jim South's office, as she was completing her application and submitting her STD results, South received an urgent call from a director whose chosen actress had failed to appear. Darlin was swiftly cast in a scene, a three-way encounter involving anal sex with Julie Rage and Ian Daniels, for the film Sexual Initiations. Within approximately two months of entering the adult film industry, Darlin secured a contract with Elegant Angel. However, this engagement concluded after a mere six months due to issues with her contract. The agreement stipulated she would participate in eight scenes per month, yet as the sole contracted performer for Elegant Angel at that time, her schedule was dominated by promotional travel, leaving her with only two filming opportunities each month. In the years 2000 and 2001, Jessica Darlin also served as a valet for "White Trash" Johnny Webb in the professional wrestling circuit for XPW.
