Jessy Mendiola has taken on significant characters in notable television productions, including leading parts in Maalaala Mo Kaya's "Marriage Contract" and Wansapanataym's "Kakambal Ko'y Manika." Her career significantly advanced with her first starring role as the title character in the afternoon series Sabel.
