About Jillian Barberie Reynolds

Jillian Reynolds, born Jillian Warry on September 26, 1966, in Burlington, Ontario, is a Canadian-American performer recognized for her work as an actress, television host, and sportscaster. Her career, heavily intertwined with the Fox/News Corporation media landscape, has earned her the nickname "The Fox of Fox." Her presence can currently be felt on the Los Angeles morning program, Good Day L.A.

Reynolds also holds a prominent position with FOX Sports, serving as the weather presenter for FOX NFL Sunday since the 2000 NFL season, with a break in 2006. Her educational journey included attending Assumption Catholic Secondary School before pursuing a two-year broadcast journalism diploma at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Following her studies, she honed her skills at various television stations, including The Weather Network in Montreal, WSVN in Miami, and KTTV in Los Angeles, all of which had ties to Fox.

She was previously married to former Major League Baseball player Bret Barberie from 1996 to 2002, a period during which she used his surname. In 2006, she married actor Grant Reynolds in a private ceremony on July 8. While she initially intended to legally change her name to Jillian Reynolds but keep Barberie professionally, she has since adopted Reynolds more broadly. Initially using Reynolds for her FOX NFL Sunday role and retaining Barberie for NutriSystem commercials, by April 2009, she was using Reynolds in those advertisements as well.

Reynolds is a dedicated advocate for animal welfare, personally caring for nine adopted shelter pets. She attributes her compassionate approach to animals to her own experience of being adopted. In December 2006, People magazine reported her pregnancy, with a due date of July 7. She formally shared the news on Good Day L.A. on December 18, 2006. Reynolds took a three-month hiatus from the show starting June 22, 2007. On July 9, Good Day L.A. announced the birth of her daughter, Ruby Raven Reynolds, on July 6, 2007, at 5 p.m., with the baby weighing 6 pounds, 12 ounces. The choice of the name Ruby Raven reflected their selection of two preferred names.
