Jolanda Egger — Biography

Jolanda Egger was born on January 8, 1960, in Lucerne, Switzerland. She is a diverse figure known for her various roles as an actress, model, beauty queen, and race car driver. Egger rose to fame when she was named Playboy's Playmate of the Month in June 1983. Following a short marriage to Formula 1 racer Marc Surer, she embarked on a career in racing. Over the years, she has been married twice more and has recently become active in politics, campaigning for a position on the Lucerne city council. Egger wedded Marc Surer in 1986 at the age of 26, but the couple divorced seven years later in 1993 when she was 33. In 1997, she married Patrick Tavoli at 37, a union that also lasted seven years, ending in 2004 when she was 44. The phenomenon known as the "7-year itch" often describes the period around which many marriages dissolve. On her 50th birthday in 2010, she tied the knot with hotelier Jacques Risi.
