Julia Hart — Biography
Julia Hart, born November 9, 2001, is an American professional wrestler with a background in cheerleading, currently competing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Her journey into professional wrestling began with training at the Academy SOPW under Ken Anderson in Minnesota, starting in 2019 and concluding in 2021. Hart's debut match occurred on November 22, 2019, against Alyna Kyle, a contest she won. She later honed her skills further at the Nightmare Factory in Georgia. At the facility's second showcase on March 28, 2021, Hart teamed with Spencer Kitz in a losing effort against Hyena Hera and Karma Dean.
Hart began appearing for All Elite Wrestling in May 2021, making appearances on AEW Dark and AEW Dynamite. Notably, her initial AEW match was only the ninth of her entire career. She initially aligned herself with the tag team known as the Varsity Blondes, Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison, serving as their cheerleader at ringside for several months. Her first victory in AEW came on the May 25 episode of Dark, where she defeated Tesha Price. A leg injury sustained on the September 4 episode of Dark prevented her from participating in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out. Hart made her return to the ring on the September 28 edition of Dark, defeating Reka Tehaka by pinfall.
A significant turning point in Hart's AEW career occurred on the December 8, 2021, episode of Dynamite when Malakai Black spat black mist into her eyes. This incident led to her wearing an eye patch and began to show a shift away from her association with the Varsity Blondes. She challenged Jade Cargill for the AEW TBS Championship on the Beach Break special edition of Rampage but was unsuccessful. On April 6, 2022, Hart competed in the Owen Hart Cup but lost in the qualifying round to Hikaru Shida. At Double or Nothing, Hart officially joined the House of Black, aiding them in a six-man tag team match victory against Death Triangle and completing a heel turn.
Hart challenged Kris Statlander for the AEW TBS Championship at WrestleDream on October 1, 2023, but lost, ending a 25-match winning streak. She earned another title opportunity at Full Gear, defeating Statlander and Skye Blue in a three-way match by pinning Blue. This victory marked her first championship win and made her the youngest champion in AEW history at 22 years old. She successfully defended her title against Abadon at Worlds End with assistance from Blue. In January 2024, she retained her title against Anna Jay at Battle of the Belts IX. Her reign concluded at Dynasty when she lost the title to Willow Nightingale after 155 days. In May, it was reported that Hart
