Hailing from a humble Latvian village, Julia Lescova's early life, shared with her mother and elder brother Maxim, forged a resilient spirit that fueled her ambition. While modeling might have seemed a natural path for the Latvian beauty, her heart first found its rhythm in dance and performance from a tender age. Her mother, recognizing this burgeoning talent, enrolled her in ballet at five and piano lessons at seven, where Julia excelled in both disciplines. For seven vibrant years, she immersed herself in the arts, mastering Latin American and ballroom dance before her attention turned towards the world of fashion.

By her teenage years, Julia harbored a clear vision of becoming a model. This aspiration blossomed into reality when she caught the eye of Latvia’s most esteemed modeling agency. Within a year, her career was in full swing, allowing her to finally provide financial support for her mother. At sixteen, she graced the cover of a national Latvian magazine, a significant milestone that amplified her presence. The following year marked a pivotal moment as she journeyed to Milan, propelling her career to new heights.

Despite her burgeoning international success, Julia remained dedicated to her education, commuting between Milan and home to complete her schooling. She tackled her studies with remarkable efficiency, accomplishing in three weeks what often took her classmates twice as long. In between her academic pursuits, she traversed major fashion capitals, working with an extensive roster of renowned designers. Milan served as her primary base, but her work took her to London, Paris, Istanbul, Athens, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore. During this period, she collaborated with prestigious names such as Mariella Burani, Pierre Cardin, Antonio Berardi, Loewe, Giambatista Valli, La Perla, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Viktor & Rolf, Bulgari, Pucci, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, TOD’s, and Vivienne Westwood, among others. Her commitment to professional and personal growth remained a constant driving force.

In December 2006, while in Turkey, Julia achieved a significant accolade, winning the coveted title of ‘Best Model in the World.’ This trip also presented her with her debut acting role in a popular Turkish television series. In 2009, Lescova's path led her to Los Angeles for a direct booking engagement. She quickly fell in love with the city, soon considering it her home. Since establishing herself in LA, Julia has been featured in national campaigns for brands like Guess and has lent her talent to various other prominent fashion houses and publications. Her work extends to New York and Miami as well. She continues to reside in Los Angeles, where she is actively developing her own body skincare line and pursuing other creative endeavors alongside her modeling career. As of July 2024, her Instagram platform boasts a following of 297,000 individuals.
