Kaitlyn Dever — Biography

Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever, born on December 21, 1996, is an accomplished actress from the United States. She rose to fame through her performances in notable television series, including her portrayal of a significant character in the FX crime drama Justified, which aired from 2011 to 2015, and her role in the ABC/Fox sitcom Last Man Standing, running from 2011 to 2021. Dever showcased her dramatic talent in the Netflix miniseries Unbelievable in 2019 and later in the Hulu series Dopesick in 2021. For her outstanding work in both Unbelievable and Dopesick, she received nominations for the Golden Globe Award, along with a Primetime Emmy Award nomination specifically for her performance in Dopesick.

In film, Dever has played various supporting roles in productions such as Bad Teacher (2011), The Spectacular Now (2013), Short Term 12 (2013), Detroit (2017), Beautiful Boy (2018), Dear Evan Hansen (2021), and Ticket to Paradise (2022). She also took on leading roles in them That Follow (2019), Booksmart (2019), and Rosaline (2022). Additionally, she is set to appear as Abby in the second season of the series The Last Of Us. Beyond her acting career, Kaitlyn is involved in a musical venture with her sister, Mady Dever, as part of a band named Beulahbelle, which is sometimes referred to by their last name, Devers.
