Karolína Plíšková, born Karolína Hrdličková on March 21, 1992, is a renowned Czech professional tennis competitor. She once held the distinguished rank of world number one in singles, ascending to the pinnacle of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings on July 17, 2017, and maintaining that status for an eight-week period. Her proficiency extended to doubles as well, where she achieved a career-high ranking of world number 11 on October 31, 2016. Plíšková is widely recognized for her formidable serve and her potent forehand. Throughout her career, she has secured 16 WTA singles titles and five WTA doubles titles. Additionally, she has triumphed in 10 singles and six doubles events on the ITF Circuit, amassing over $20 million in career prize money. Her Grand Slam singles achievements include reaching the final of the US Open in 2016 and the Wimbledon Championships in 2021.
