About Kasia Struss

Katarzyna Strusińska, professionally known as Kasia Struss, entered the world on November 23, 1987, in Ciechanów, Poland. Her striking presence has made her a prominent figure in the fashion industry, earning her recognition from prestigious publications. Vogue Paris, in particular, acknowledged her as one of the foremost models of the 2000s. Over the span of her career, Struss has graced the covers of twelve different Vogue editions, including a notable cover for Vogue Italia, and has participated in an impressive 422 runway shows.

Her journey into modeling began in 2005 when a local talent scout noticed her after she submitted her photographs to a Polish teen magazine. After completing her high school education in her hometown, she secured a contract with Avant Management, an agency that has remained her mother agency for over a decade. Early in her career, Style.com identified her as one of the top ten emerging talents for that season. Struss has since been featured in a variety of fashion magazines such as Vogue, Numéro, W, V, Dazed & Confused, and Ten Magazine. Her runway career boasts an extensive list of designers and brands, including Marc Jacobs, Viktor & Rolf, John Galliano, Versace, Kenzo, Diesel, DKNY, Burberry Prorsum, Louis Vuitton, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Sonia Rykiel, Gareth Pugh, Julien Macdonald, and Victoria's Secret, among many others.

The 2007/2008 fashion seasons saw Struss opening shows for prominent houses like Nina Ricci, Dries Van Noten, Doo.Ri, Giambattista Valli, PHI, Costume National, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Jil Sander, Sinha Stanic, Jill Stuart, Loewe, and Wunderkind. She also closed shows for Jil Sander, Chloé, Giambattista Valli, Thakoon, Richard Chai, Christopher Kane, and Doo.Ri. During the Spring/Summer 2010 fashion week, she was the third most sought-after model, booked for a significant number of shows.

Struss has lent her image to advertising campaigns for luxury brands including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Valentino, Miu Miu, Hugo Boss, Costume National, Kenzo, Bottega Veneta, Alberta Ferretti, Chloé, Mulberry, Pringle of Scotland, Jil Sander, H&M, Express, and Costume National. In the Spring/Summer 2009 season, she shared the distinction of walking the most shows with fellow model Vlada Roslyakova, both appearing in 72 presentations. Her standing in the industry is further cemented by Vogue Paris's recognition of her as one of the "30 Models of the Decade" and her current designation as an 'Industry Icon' on Models.com.
