She is prominently recognized for her portrayal of Kitty O'Neill in the critically acclaimed Starz series Boss, which won a Golden Globe. Additionally, Robertson gained fame for her role as Hildy Mulligan in TNT's Murder in the First, and she is well-remembered as Tina Edison from the Canadian sitcom Maniac Mansion, which aired from 1990 to 1993. Her role as Clare Arnold in the popular Fox teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1994 to 1997 further solidified her status in the entertainment industry. Beyond television, she has appeared in various films and, from 2011 to 2012, reprised her role as Kitty O'Neill in the political drama Boss. Between 2014 and 2016, she portrayed the character Hildy Mulligan in another gripping TNT series, Murder in the First. In 2019, Robertson took on a leading role in the series Northern Rescue.
