Kayla Braxton, born Kayla Becker in Wadley, Alabama, on June 7, 1993, is a recognized figure in American sports broadcasting. Her professional journey includes a significant tenure with WWE, where she is known by her ring name, Kayla Braxton. Prior to her WWE career, she contributed her reporting skills to WESH 2 News.

Braxton, who identifies as biracial, experienced a challenging upbringing. At the age of nine, her mother was incarcerated, leading Kayla to grow up within the foster care system. Her early aptitude for communication was evident during her teenage years when she excelled in public speaking competitions. A notable achievement from this period was a visit to the White House at seventeen, where she addressed President George W. Bush.

Her academic pursuits led her to Belmont University, from which she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. While a student, she began producing online content and hosted several digital entertainment programs in and around Nashville, Tennessee.
