Kayla Simmons is an American model, social media personality, and former volleyball athlete at Marshall University. Born in September 1995 in Gainesville, Florida, she developed her athletic career through multiple sports during her formative years. At P.K Yonge Development Research School affiliated with the University of Florida, she served as volleyball team captain for three consecutive years, guiding her squad to four district championships and five appearances in the Elite 8 tournament. Prior to her volleyball career, Simmons spent five years as a competitive cheerleader, during which she earned three national titles in the sport. Her transition to modeling and social media has garnered significant attention, though she faced some institutional resistance from her college regarding the content she shared on Instagram. By April 2024, her Instagram account had grown to 1.0 million followers. Simmons is a native of Gainesville, Florida. In August 2020, she created a TikTok video featuring commentary about Jason Nash.
