Born on September 12, 1993, Kelsea Nicole Ballerini has established herself as a prominent voice in country pop, both as a singer and a songwriter. Her creative journey began in her youth, leading to a professional milestone in 2014 when she inked a deal with Black River Entertainment. The subsequent year saw the unveiling of her inaugural studio album, "The First Time." This was followed in 2017 by her sophomore effort, "Unapologetically." Together, these initial two projects yielded seven songs that made their mark on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.

Ballerini achieved a significant feat with four number-one singles on the Country Airplay chart. Her debut single, "Love Me Like You Mean It," set a new precedent, making her the first female artist since Carrie Underwood in 2006 to launch a debut single to the summit of that particular chart. The success continued with "Dibs" and "Peter Pan," which, along with her debut, marked another historical achievement: the first time a female country artist had her first three singles reach the number-one position since Wynonna Judd. Her fourth chart-topping hit is the song "Legends." The year 2020 brought forth her third and fourth studio albums, "Kelsea" and "Ballerini."

In March 2016, Ballerini began a relationship with Australian country singer Morgan Evans. Their bond deepened, leading to an engagement on Christmas Day of 2016. The couple exchanged vows on December 2, 2017, in the picturesque setting of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
