About Kerri Kasem
Born in Los Angeles, California, on July 12, 1972, Kerri Kasem has established herself as a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry, excelling as a radio and television host, actress, and cover model. Her image has graced the pages of prominent magazines such as Maxim and FHM. Kerri is the daughter of the renowned radio personality Casey Kasem, who hosted the popular 1980s syndicated television program America's Top 10 and its radio equivalent, American Top 40, and his first wife, Linda Myers Kasem, a fundraiser for the United States Republican Party.
Throughout her career, Kerri has made a significant impact across both radio and television as a personality, producer, and writer. Her childhood was spent in a Hollywood residence with her siblings, Mike and Julie, where they often staged and directed plays for their family. Kasem pursued her education at the Academy of Radio Broadcasting and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She launched her television career as an MTV video jockey in Asia. Her film debut occurred in the 1994 feature L.A. Wars, followed by an appearance in the 1997 movie James Dean: Race with Destiny. In 1998, she featured in the television series Acapulco H.E.A.T. and MTV's My Generation, and also had a role in the 2001 film My Life As a Troll.
Currently, Kerri can be heard on the syndicated Premiere show Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx from Monday to Friday, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., and on weekends with The Sideshow Countdown. In addition to hosting her own program, The Kerri Kasem Podcast, she shared her passion for motorcycles as the co-host of Racing Rocks with Riki Rachtman for nearly seven years. She also offers advice on real estate as the host of the syndicated The Mortgage Radio Show. Kasem has served as a reporter and host for E!, is a host for UFC, and hosts The Rub on SiTV. In 2003, she participated as a contestant on the ESPN reality series Beg, Borrow & Deal.
Beyond her television work, Kasem has contributed to various radio programs, including "Racing Rocks," which aired on over 120 stations. She has also been involved with the National Lampoon Comedy Countdown, The Solomon Free Money Hour, and Pet Talk. For a period, she co-hosted a weekday morning radio talk show on KXNT 840 AM in Las Vegas, Nevada, from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. US Pacific Time with Alan Stock.
