About Kimberly McArthur
Kimberly McArthur, an attractive brunette, was born on September 16, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the youngest of three children raised by her mother following her parents' separation. During her formative years, McArthur pursued studies in dance, music, and theater at a university in Fort Worth. She auditioned for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders but did not advance past the selection process. Her early performance experience included participation in the musical production "The Rock'n'Roll Girls," which achieved sufficient popularity to tour internationally, including performances in Monte Carlo.
After relocating to Los Angeles, McArthur became the Playboy Playmate of the Month for January 1982. She subsequently appeared in several Playboy video releases and special publications as a featured cover subject. Her television work included guest appearances on the series "Highway to Heaven" and "Magnum P.I.," along with commercial work for corporations including Kleenex, Merrill Lynch, and AT&T. McArthur also appeared in the music video for Mel Tillis's "A Cowboy's Dream" and secured film roles in "Young Doctors in Love" and "Easy Money."
In 1986, McArthur took over the role of Kelly Capwell on the daytime television drama "Santa Barbara," succeeding Robin Wright in the position. She remained with the program for approximately three months before departing. Following this period, McArthur largely withdrew from the entertainment industry and public life.
McArthur's Playmate honors extended internationally, including recognition in Playboy editions from France, Japan, Germany, Brazil, and Italy across the early-to-mid 1980s.
