About Kirsten Stewart
Kirsten Imrie, a prominent figure in the world of glamour modeling and television presenting, hails from Glasgow, Scotland, where she was born on April 21, 1969. When she was three years old, her family moved to Musselburgh in East Lothian. After completing her education at 16, Imrie held various blue-collar jobs around Edinburgh. At 18, she entered into marriage with a man from Haddington, which ended shortly thereafter.
Imrie's modeling career began in earnest after relocating to London, launching as a Page 3 girl in The Sun shortly after her 21st birthday in November 1988. She remained a regular feature in Page 3 until August 1993. Over her career, she graced the covers and pages of numerous British adult magazines and made her American debut in Penthouse magazine as the Pet of the Month in December 1989, using the name Kirsten Stewart. She also appeared in Playboy and continued to model well into her late 30s, including a feature in Mayfair magazine in April 2007 at the age of 39. Notably, Amateur Photographer magazine recognized her as the "Face of '96". Her film credits include a small role in the 1990 movie The Rainbow Thief alongside Peter O'Toole.
In addition to her modeling work, Imrie took on roles as a television presenter. She appeared on the adult channel Television X in 1995 and was hired by L!VE TV in 1996 to host Sports Live with Kirsten Imrie, succeeding fellow Page 3 girl Gail McKenna.
Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Imrie's life was often sensationalized in British tabloids, which chronicled her high-profile lifestyle, purported struggles with alcohol and drug use, and personal relationships, including rumored affairs with other models. By the mid-1990s, she faced financial difficulties, and a court appearance in September 1994 revealed that she was out of work, drowning in debt, and reliant on unemployment benefits.
In November 2000, tabloids reported that Imrie was homeless and living on Clapham Common after selling her home to settle her debts. However, she found support through reader donations, which helped her secure a new flat in South London and restarted her modeling career. Imrie candidly discussed her experiences with homelessness and addiction in the UK television documentary The Curse of Page 3 in 2003.
