Kristi Noem — Biography
Kristi Lynn Noem, born Kristi Arnold, is a prominent American politician who has held the office of the 33rd governor of South Dakota since 2019. Affiliated with the Republican Party, she represented South Dakota's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House from 2011 until 2019 and served in the South Dakota House of Representatives for the 6th district from 2007 to 2011. In November 2024, Donald Trump appointed Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security during his non-consecutive second term. However, she was dismissed in March 2026 due to several controversies, including speculation regarding an affair with her deputy, Corey Lewandowski. By February 2026, Kristi Noem had gained a following of 30,900 subscribers on YouTube.
