Kym Malin, a striking and compact beauty, entered the world on July 31, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. During her formative years, she participated in competitive diving and earned recognition as "The Most Perfect Body in Texas" at a regional beauty pageant. In May 1982, Malin achieved widespread recognition when she was selected as Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine. Her work with the publication proved extensive, encompassing ten magazine covers and ten separate pictorials, plus additional content for Playboy Plus. She also graced the pages of international editions including Playboy France, Playboy Spain, Playboy Japan, Playboy Australia, and Playboy Turkey.

After her tenure with Playboy, Malin transitioned into film and television work. She delivered a memorable comedic turn as the brazen Lola in the tongue-in-cheek comedy "Joysticks." Her film appearances expanded to include supporting parts in major productions such as "Mike's Murder," "Weird Science," where she executed her own stunt involving being pulled into a chimney and ejected into a swimming pool, "Die Hard," and "Road House." She additionally appeared in four low-budget action pictures directed by Andy Sidaris, namely "Picasso Trigger," "Guns," "Enemy Gold," and "The Dallas Connection."

Following her entertainment career, Malin relocated back to Texas and enrolled in community college coursework. She eventually settled in upstate New York, where she currently works as the manager of a pediatrician's office.
