About Kyoko Fukada

Kyoko Fukada is a prominent figure in Japanese entertainment, recognized for her work as both an actress and a singer. Within Japan, she is often affectionately known by the shortened moniker, Fukakyon. Her talent was notably celebrated when she received the Best Actress award at the Yokohama Film Festival for her role in Kamikaze Girls. Fukada's journey began in Tokyo, Japan, where she was born and grew up, later being joined by a younger sister.

Her professional debut arrived in 1987 with a role as Kazune in the television drama Sore ga Kotae da!. Fukada's transition to the silver screen commenced in 1999 with her appearance as Kanae Sawaguchi in the film Ring 2, followed by a role in School Day of the Dead in 2000. This same year marked the completion of her education at Horikoshi High School. Continuing her cinematic endeavors, she appeared in the 2002 film Dolls, portraying Haruna.
