About Lara Pulver

Hailing from Essex, England, Lara Pulver's early artistic inclinations saw her immersed in drama with the National Youth Music Theatre for four years, from 1994 to 1998. This foundation paved the way for her academic pursuits, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Theatre. Pulver's significant contributions to the stage garnered her a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her compelling interpretation of Lucille Frank in Rob Ashford's production of "Parade" at The Donmar Warehouse. The strength of her performance earned her an invitation to reprise the role at The Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, where she acted alongside T.R. Knight, earning widespread critical acclaim. Her transition to the screen began in 2008 with a role as Isabella of Gisbourne in the widely successful BBC prime-time series Robin Hood, a show with considerable international reach. More recently, she has concluded filming for Peter Morgan's new movie, The Special Relationship, a project featuring Michael Sheen and Dennis Quaid.
