Lauren Taylor emerged onto the acting scene in 2000 with a role in the film "The Family Man." Her early career saw her guest appearances on popular television shows such as "Jake in Progress" and "The Suite Life on Deck." She landed a recurring part in the drama series "American Family" in 2004. Taylor gained further recognition for her portrayal of Shelby Vance in the Disney Channel sitcom "Liv and Maddie," a role she held from 2013 to 2017. She also lent her voice to the animated series "Sonic Boom" as the character of Blaze the Cat.
