Lexie Brown — Biography

Alexis Kiah Brown is a professional basketball athlete from the United States, currently playing for the Los Angeles Sparks in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Before joining the Sparks, she had stints with the Chicago Sky, Minnesota Lynx, and Connecticut Sun in the WNBA. Brown was selected as the ninth overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun and was traded to the Minnesota Lynx the following year. She honed her skills in college basketball at both the University of Maryland and Duke University. Brown is the daughter of Dee Brown, a former NBA player and coach, who had a notable 12-year career primarily as a point guard with the Boston Celtics, where he famously won the Slam Dunk Contest in 1991.
