Born on September 26, 1988, Lilly Singh is a Canadian entertainer of Indian heritage, known for her comedic work, past television hosting, and as a prominent YouTuber. For many years, she was recognized online by her pseudonym Superwoman, stylized as iiSuperwomanii, the handle under which she began creating videos in 2010. Raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Singh quickly gained a significant following.

Her success on the platform was recognized by Forbes, which in 2016 placed her third on its list of the world's highest-earning YouTubers, estimating her income at $7.5 million. The following year, her earnings were reported at $10.5 million, ranking her tenth on Forbes' list of top-earning YouTube stars. By the autumn of 2019, her subscriber count had reached 14.9 million, with her videos accumulating over three billion views. Singh was a recurring participant in YouTube Rewind from 2014 onward, missing only the 2019 installment.
