Lucy Gordon, a talent who graced both the fashion world and the silver screen, began her professional journey as a model. In 1997, she rose to prominence as a representative for the cosmetics brand CoverGirl. This success paved the way for her transition into acting. Her cinematic debut arrived in 2001 with the film Perfume. Following this, she secured smaller parts in notable productions such as Spider-Man 3, Serendipity, and The Four Feathers. A significant role saw Gordon embody the iconic actress and singer Jane Birkin in Gainsbourg, a biographical film centered on the life of singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. Tragically, before the release of this film, Gordon was found deceased in her Paris apartment on May 20, 2009. Authorities stated she appeared to have died by suicide by hanging, discovered with an electrical wire. She had authored two notes, one outlining her final wishes concerning her possessions, and the other addressed to her parents.
