Lynn McCrossin, an American known for her presence in both bodybuilding and adult films, died on June 17, 2015. She was 57 years old and her passing was due to colon cancer. Her bodybuilding career saw her achieve significant recognition. In 1984, she won the AAU Ms. Old Orchard Beach Overall title. The following year, 1985, was particularly successful: she placed second in the lightweight division at AAU Ms. Maine, secured the Overall title at AAU Ms. Northern New England, and won the lightweight division at AAU Ms. East Coast. She also took the Overall title at AAU Ms. North East and the AAU Maine Muscle Classic that same year, in addition to winning the lightweight division at AAU Ms. North America. In 1986, McCrossin earned second place in the lightweight category at NPC New England’s and third place in the lightweight division at NPC South Jersey. She continued to compete in the 1990s, taking second place in the lightweight division at NPC Ms. Maine in 1994 and at NPC Ms. Old Orchard Beach in 1995. In 1997, she achieved Overall wins at both NPC Ms. Maine and NPC Ms. New England, and placed eighth in the lightweight division at the NPC Nationals. Her final listed competitions were in 1998, where she finished eleventh in the lightweight division at the NPC USA and eighth in the lightweight division at the NPC Nationals.
