About Mandy Leon
Born in the bustling borough of Brooklyn, New York, Mandy Leon's upbringing spanned the distinct locales of Lancaster and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Her heritage is a rich tapestry woven from Puerto Rican, Cuban, Italian, and French threads.
Leon's journey into the squared circle commenced on April 18, 2014, with her debut in Ring of Honor (ROH) at the Future Of Honor 1 event. Her initial foray ended in defeat against Jenny Rose. Two months later, at Future Of Honor 2, she found herself on the losing side once more in a tag team encounter alongside Jenny Rose and Veda Scott. A turning point arrived on July 25, 2015, when Leon secured her first victory within ROH, besting Deonna Purrazzo in a dark match. Her subsequent appearances saw her fall to Taeler Hendrix during the ROH Reloaded Tour. Later that year, she teamed with Sumie Sakai to defeat Purrazzo and Hania "The Howling Huntress" in another dark match, marking her second win.
February 6, 2016, marked Leon's inaugural televised match for ROH on SBG #249 - Women of Honor Special, where she faced Hania the Howling Huntress and was unsuccessful. She avenged this loss on July 8, 2016, in a hard-fought 2 Out of 3 Falls match. Following her program with Hania, Leon engaged in a heated rivalry with Taeler Hendrix. Their confrontation on the July 30 episode of ROH Television saw Leon emerge victorious in a dark match, only to be subjected to a post-match assault by Hendrix, escalating their animosity into a backstage brawl. Weeks later, Leon intervened to protect Deonna Purrazzo from Hendrix's aggression, leading to a tag team match involving the three and a mystery partner for Hendrix in Lockport, New York. This encounter concluded with Leon being pinned by Hendrix's associate, Jessicka Havok, after Hendrix utilized a steel chair. These events culminated in the inaugural No Disqualification match in Women of Honor history at ROH on SBG #276, where Hendrix ultimately triumphed, employing her "Kiss Goodnight" finisher onto a collection of chairs.
This loss spurred a transformation in Leon, pushing her towards a more aggressive persona. The feud was curtailed when Hendrix departed ROH. To write her character off, Leon presented ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni with a tarot card signifying death, declaring the Women of Honor division cleansed of dishonor. She concluded her participation that night with blood adorning her body. Leon then defeated Jessicka Havok in a match that aired on December 14, 2016. In March 2017, Leon was defeated by Sumie Sakai in a three-way bout that also included Jenny Rose. During this period, Leon embraced a heel persona,
