Mara Corday — Biography

Mara Corday gained fame as a pinup girl in various men's magazines throughout the 1950s. She was selected as one of the two Playmates of the Month for the October 1958 edition of Playboy, sharing the spotlight with renowned model and showgirl Pat Sheehan. In 1956, Corday took on a recurring role in the ABC television series Combat Sergeant. From 1959 until early 1961, she focused on making guest appearances on different television programs. Eventually, she decided to step away from her career to concentrate on family life. During her seventeen-year marriage to Richard Long, she welcomed three children.
