Maria Luisa Gil — Biography

Born in Cuba in 1977, Maria Luisa Gil is a Cuban model and actress. Her rise to prominence included being selected as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in June of 1998. Gil made her relocation to the United States, specifically Chicago, Illinois, in December of 1996. In 2001, Maria Gil faced legal repercussions when she was arrested in connection with aiding her husband, Pedro Pajes, in smuggling cocaine into America. While Pajes received a life sentence for his involvement, Gil was sentenced to serve between 21 and 27 months in correctional facilities. Her noteworthy performance as a Playboy Playmate occurred in June 1998.
