Mary Louise Weller — Biography
Born on the first day of September in 1946, Mary Louise Weller spent her formative years in Los Angeles. Her journey into acting began after a successful career as a premier model in New York. Weller's initial foray into cinema was a minor, uncredited appearance in the 1973 film Serpico. She then captured attention for her portrayal of a striking marine biologist in the television movie Hunters of the Reef, released in 1978. That same year, she delivered a compelling performance as the college student girlfriend of Professor Andrew Prine in The Evil, a highly regarded haunted house horror film. However, her role as the sorority girl Mandy Pepperidge in the wildly successful comedy National Lampoon's Animal House in 1978 cemented her place in popular culture. Following the triumph of "Animal House," Weller continued to impress audiences with a variety of significant roles in both comedic and dramatic productions.
