About Mary Millington
Mary Millington initially pursued a career as a veterinary nurse, but her life took a dramatic turn when she crossed paths with the notorious London photographer John Lindsay. Influenced by Lindsay, she began to model for numerous nude photo shoots in British glamor magazines. This endeavor eventually led her into the realm of illegally produced hardcore adult films. In 1974, she connected with rising publisher and film producer David Sullivan, quickly rising to prominence as the most well-known nude model in the United Kingdom. Sullivan vigorously promoted her through various magazines and cast her in his 1977 film, Come Play with Me. The movie achieved remarkable success, running for 201 weeks at a single London theater and setting box office records across the nation. Although several other films followed, "Come Play with Me" remains the longest-running film in British cinematic history. Sadly, with her growing fame came an increasing dependence on drugs. As she faced relentless attention from law enforcement and developed an escalating paranoia about her appearance, Mary ultimately took her own life on August 19, 1979. - IMDb Mini Biography By: tigon Spouse Robert Maxted (April 4, 1964 - August 19, 1979) (her death)
