About Maryse Ouellet
Maryse Mizanin, whose maiden name is Ouellet, is a French-Canadian entertainer who has worked as a model, actress, and professional wrestler before retiring from the sport. She gained prominence through her work with WWE. Following a successful modeling career that included earning the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada title in 2003, Mizanin competed in WWE's Diva Search and secured employment with the organization in 2006. She trained in developmental programs at Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling before being placed on the SmackDown roster in 2008. During that first year on SmackDown, she captured her initial WWE Divas Championship. The following year brought a transfer to WWE Raw, where she later achieved her second Divas Championship victory in 2010, becoming the first female performer to win the title on multiple occasions. In 2010, she served as co-host of NXT and managed wrestler Ted DiBiase until WWE parted ways with her in 2011. Following a hiatus, she rejoined WWE in 2016 to manage her spouse, Mike Mizanin, known professionally as The Miz. That same year marked her debut on the reality television program Total Divas. In 2018, WWE launched Miz & Mrs., a spinoff series featuring Mizanin and her husband as both stars and executive producers. Mizanin comes from French-Canadian heritage and speaks French natively while being proficient in English and capable of reading Spanish. By December 2025, her Instagram account had grown to 2.9 million followers, while her TikTok presence reached 355,200 followers.
