Mercedes Mason made the significant move to the United States when she was just twelve years old. By thirteen, her striking presence caught the eye of FORD modeling agency, initiating a global modeling career that she juggled alongside her high school studies. During her college years, while pursuing a degree in psychology, she landed her very first acting opportunity, an audition that led to a role opposite Vince Vaughn in the 2006 film The Break-Up. Upon completing her education, she secured a starring role in the 2009 film Red Sands, sharing the screen with Shane West and J.K. Simmons. Mason then took on the leading role in Quarantine 2: Terminal, a continuation of the popular cult horror franchise, following the 2008 original.
