Mickey Winters — Biography
Renowned for her captivating centerfold, a portfolio captured by the lens of Don Bronstein, Mickey Winters found herself the subject of devoted fan scrutiny. A descriptor accompanying one of the images playfully noted her "relaxing in the hay," a detail that prompted astute readers to point out her actual repose was upon straw, not hay. During her tenure as a Bunny at the inaugural Playboy Club in Chicago, Mickey forged deep friendships with fellow Playmates and Bunnies Patti Reynolds and Linda Gamble. In 1963, her journey led her to Southern California, where she embarked on parallel pursuits in restaurant management and interior design. A significant chapter of her life concluded with the dissolution of a 32-year marriage to the man she once called her "true love," though she has since remarried. Together, she and her current husband recently divested themselves of a bar and restaurant located in the Lake Tahoe region. Their current residence, situated near another picturesque lake, allows them ample opportunity to pursue their passions for waterskiing, boating, and snow skiing. "Believe it or not," Mickey remarks today, "I still get fan mail."
