This French performer, known universally by her stage name Miou-Miou, first captured widespread attention in 1974. Her role in Bertrand Blier's "Going Places" (Les Valseuses) launched her into the spotlight. Her celebrated performance in the 1979 drama "Memoirs of a French Whore" (La dérobade) earned her the prestigious César Award for Best Actress.
