About Molly Line
Molly Line serves as a correspondent for the Fox News Channel, initially joining the organization in January of 2006 as a reporter based in Boston. Her academic journey began with her graduation from Tucker County High School in West Virginia in 1995. She then pursued higher education at Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Political Science in 1999. During her time in college and in the years that followed, Line was a notable participant in the Miss West Virginia Pageant system. She vied for the crown in 1997 as Miss Greater Bluefield Area and again in 2000, where she achieved the distinction of 3rd Runner-Up and secured the Preliminary Talent Award. Beyond her professional life in broadcasting, Line is an accomplished individual with a passion for outdoor activities. Her experiences living amidst the mountainous landscapes of West Virginia and New England included working as a professional ski instructor, a detail she sometimes shares during her on-air reports. Official announcements indicate that she became engaged on June 9, 2011, and later exchanged wedding vows on July 21, 2012, at Jackson Community Church in Jackson, New Hampshire. Before her tenure at Fox News Channel, Line was an anchor and reporter at WFXT in Boston from 2002 to 2005, where her reporting encompassed significant events such as the sentencing of Richard Reid, famously known as the "shoe bomber," and the devastating Station nightclub fire. Earlier in her career, she worked as an anchor and reporter at WXXA in Albany, New York, from 2000 to 2002. She launched her professional path as a photographer and reporter at WDTV in Bridgeport, West Virginia, from 1999 to 2000. Her significant field reporting assignments have included live coverage of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the Boston Marathon bombing, and the extradition of Neil Entwistle.
