Monica Tidwell, born on January 14, 1954, is a producer known for her past work as a writer, director, actress, and model. Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, she gained fame as the Playmate of the Month for the November 1973 edition of Playboy magazine. Her centerfold photos were taken by Dwight Hooker and Bill Frantz. Notably, Tidwell holds the distinction of being the first Playmate to be younger than the magazine itself, as she was just 19 during the photo shoot, having arrived in the world around the same time the second issue of Playboy was released.

In 2008, Tidwell took on the role of Primary Producer for the Off-Broadway play Mindgame in New York City. This production, penned by Anthony Horowitz, known for Foyle's War, was directed by esteemed British filmmaker Ken Russell, and featured a cast that included Keith Carradine, Lee Godart, and Kathleen McNenny.

Tidwell's recognition as Playboy's Playmate of the Month extends to international editions as well, with titles for both Playboy USA and Playboy Germany in November 1973. Her film appearances include roles in the short film Rawdon's Roof (2014), New York Nights (1984), Nocturna (1979), Robin (1979), The Yum Yum Girls (1976), and The Astrologer (1975).
