Monique Evans — Biography

Monique Evans made her mark on Brazilian television over three decades, appearing in a variety of programs from 1981 to 2012. Her television career spanned dramatic telenovelas, comedic shows, studio-based entertainment, and reality television. Notably, she was a contestant on A Fazenda in 2010 and 2011. Her presence extended to the silver screen, with six film roles between 1984 and 2018. Evans is credited with initiating a significant trend at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival: having stunning women lead the Samba School drum sections. These influential figures became known as Madrinhas or Rainhas de Bateria. Throughout her career, beginning in the early 1980s, she frequently posed for sensual and nude photoshoots, gracing the pages of publications like Homem. Dezembro 1976, Status.
