Morganna Cottrell — Biography
Morganna Roberts, known as Morganna the Kissing Bandit, was born on July 4, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky. An American entertainer, adult model, and exotic dancer, she gained fame in the 1970s and 1980s for her daring antics in baseball and other sports arenas. Renowned for her curvaceous figure, which was often reported to be around 60 inches in bust circumference, her measurements were frequently cited as 60-23-39. However, some vintage photos from the early 1960s showed her with a slightly more modest, yet still impressive, figure of 48-24-39. Different sources also cited her measurements at 44-23-37. The lightness and buoyancy of her breasts led to speculation about the type of enhancements she may have had, though her cleavage was reported as natural, especially since she was already well-endowed at 17—a time when breast implants were not widely available.
Morganna's sharp sense of humor helped her stand out among other models. She once humorously remarked that fellow sex symbol Dolly Parton was "flat-chested" compared to her. Her typical approach involved securing a front row seat and donning an oversized jacket to conceal her identity. When a favored player was at bat, she would dramatically remove her jacket and rush onto the field to plant a kiss on the unsuspecting athlete, often eliciting a surprised smile from him and cheers from the audience. Each time, she was arrested for disorderly conduct, which only heightened her fame. In one instance, Texas attorney Richard "Racehorse" Haynes humorously proposed the "gravity defense" in court, claiming that her top-heavy physique caused her to tumble over the railing.
Morganna graced the pages of Playboy magazine three times, appearing in the issues of June 1983, April 1985, and September 1989. Her final significant appearance occurred in 1996 in the Farrelly brothers' film Kingpin, where she played herself. After a vibrant career, she retired at the end of 1999 and now resides in Columbus, Ohio. Her first foray onto the field took place at 17 when she dared to kiss Pete Rose at Riverfront Stadium in 1971. She recalled that upon kissing him, Rose only exclaimed, "You crazy fuckin' broad!"—a sentiment he later apologized for. Reflecting on her career, she said, "I tell people my career started with a bet, and Pete's ended with one." Another notable encounter involved her kiss with the towering Frank Howard, an event that amusingly exposed her leg due to her short skirt. During the Chicago Cubs' first night game at Wrigley Field on August 8, 1988, she attempted to kiss Ryne Sandberg but was intercepted by the police instead. Ironically, Sandberg went on to hit a home run on the next pitch
