About Myla Dalbesio
Myla Dalbesio, born on June 26, 1987, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is an accomplished American artist and glamour model. She pursued her studies in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and currently resides in New York City. Myla gained recognition in the modeling world when she was crowned Miss Teen Wisconsin at the age of 16. This achievement led her to opportunities in modeling, where she caught the attention of Jeff and Mary Clarke, talent scouts from Mother Model Management, who attempted to place her in the mainstream modeling circuit. However, she was ultimately categorized as “plus size.” Myla has since expressed that this label doesn’t accurately fit her, as she considers herself an "in-betweener" in the fashion industry—with a size 10 figure that is often too large for typical modeling roles yet too small for plus-size gigs. In pursuit of work, she has occasionally admitted to exaggerating her size and altering her clothing to land roles intended for larger models. In 2014, after noticeable weight loss, she modeled for the Calvin Klein underwear campaign titled Perfectly Fit. In 2018, she made headlines when she posed topless for Sports Illustrated. Myla describes herself as a "multi-disciplinary visual artist," engaging in photography, painting, drawing, writing, and sculpture.
