Natalia Sokolova, known as Наталья Соколова, hails from Moscow, Russia. Before her retirement in 2006, she graced 14 magazine covers, participated in 5 photo shoots, and starred in 9 videos. She was recognized as Playboy's "Playmate of the Month" in April 1999, and made appearances in multiple Playboy editions, including "Daily Double" in May 2010 and June 2003, as well as features in "More Features - Foxy For Fall" and "Playmate Review 1999." Natalia also earned the title of Playmate of the Month in various international editions, including Playboy Russia, France, Spain, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, and Romania, during the late 1990s.

Natalia's background reflects a strong academic lineage; her grandfather was a distinguished inventor in the Soviet Union, while her mother is a celebrated scientist with a PhD. In her youth, she participated in a delegation to Japan as a peace ambassador and spent a month in England to enhance her English skills. This experience later helped her win a competition that allowed her to engage in a student exchange program with Springbrook High School in Maryland in 1993. At just 16, she enrolled in the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

At 17, on Halloween, Natalia faced a severe injury that left her in a wheelchair for six months, with doctors warning her of possible paralysis. After enduring extensive treatment in Moscow, she earned her degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland in 1998. While in college, she competed in the Hawaiian Tropics International Swimwear events held in Las Vegas, which led to her invitation to model for Playboy, a step that significantly contributed to her fame. Recognized as Miss April 1999, she appeared in various issues of the magazine from 1999 to 2001. In addition to her modeling career, Natalia explored acting in film and television, taking on roles that showcased her striking figure, and participated in advertising campaigns, including one for Miller High Life beer in 2003.
