Natalie Horler — Biography

Born on September 23, 1981, Natalie Horler is a prominent figure in German entertainment, recognized for her talents as both a vocalist and a television host. She fronts the successful Eurodance and Eurotrance collective, Cascada, with their 2006 hit "Everytime We Touch" being her most widely recognized contribution to music. Horler's vocal capabilities are substantial, possessing a mezzo-soprano range that extends across three octaves.

Her origins trace back to Bonn, West Germany, where she was born to English parents who relocated to the country in 1980. Her father, David Horler, is a professional jazz musician, while her mother, Christine, is an educator specializing in foreign languages. Natalie was raised alongside her two siblings and began her musical journey at a young age, exploring jazz standards and Disney tunes in her father's studio.

Horler's professional performance career commenced with engagements in local bars and casinos. By the age of eighteen, she was collaborating with various DJs, contributing vocals to numerous studio recordings. It was during this period that she crossed paths with what would become her future bandmates, Manian and Yanou. Prior to her involvement with Cascada, she released a notable track titled "Piece Of Heaven" under the artist name Akira. Additionally, Horler made a television appearance on the German version of the talent competition show, Star Search, in 2004.
